Oasis is an inclusive studio.

We know it’s hard to try something new, so we made our space as welcoming as possible. All bodies are equally invited into our community space.

This phoenix-inspired mural encompasses our ability to transform. Emerging from the lotus flower which blossoms from mud, the phoenix rises from the ashes to become the fullest expression of its’ fiery power.

Mission Statement

Oasis Yoga Studio offers a safe community space for inner exploration, growth and empowerment of the mind, body and spirit through movement, breath and healthy lifestyle practices.

Inspired by Idaho’s beautiful mountain lakes, our moonlit mural features the native herring. We hope you find peace, grounding and self-compassion when practicing facing the abundant scene.

Your personal expansion is our goal.

Oasis Yoga Studio has been apart of the Kuna community since 2020. There was a simple vision: to create a space for individuals to connect, grow, heal and explore.

Yoga is the union of mind, body and soul through the pairing of breath and movement. It is more than postures, it’s connection to past, present and future versions of ourselves. Yoga strengthens and stretches our bodies and can bring balance through consistency. Yoga was created as a meditation and the postures a tool to keep the mind focused and in the present. Asana offers physical benefits that can support a healthier lifestyle.

Whatever yoga is to you, we are honored to guide you on your journey.

Beginner’s Guide

When you are new to the practice or trying out a studio for the first time, it can be intimidating. We are here to help ease you into the practice. Here are a few things to know.

  • The doors open 15 minutes prior to start time. Give yourself 10-15 minutes to settle into your spot or finish signing any waivers.

  • Classes start on-time to respect the hour that all students have taken out of their day to be here. Late arrivals or cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions stated at registration.

  • The studio doors are locked at class start times.

  • Turn electronic devices to silent.

  • Shoes, phones, cameras or personal belongings are not permitted in the asana room unless you have coordinated prior approval. Cubbys are available to in the lobby to store your belongings. Oasis does not accept responsibility for lost or missing items.

  • Stay on your mat during practice if possible to reduce interference with others students and their practice.

  • If you are new to hot yoga and need to come out of a posture, listen to your body. Try child’s pose or savasana until you are ready to move again.

  • Bring a water bottle and come hydrated! There is a refill station in the studio; please help yourself. To reduce carbon footprint, we do not have cups. Water bottles can be purchased from the studio.

  • Wipe down all used equipment with the provided cleaning supplies found on the north side of the asana room. This includes mats, blocks, chairs, resistant straps and wheels. Used linens can be placed in the hampers.

  • Let go of judgements, expectations, and offer yourself 60-minutes of surrender.

  • Check your ego at the door, this is not a practice for performance or competition.

  • The asana room is intended as a quiet space. We love connecting with each other but ask you to keep conversations for the lobby. This reduces triggering conversations.

  • If you need any support, please speak out or contact us. We are here to support you.

We offer several styles of yoga. Find a class that’s right for you by clinking the drop-down toggle below. Still not sure? Reach out. We love talking about yoga!

Classes Offered

  • This class will use elements of yin, hatha, and vinyasa. It is designed to be a transition into more intense full length classes. Suitable for everyone, but designed for beginners, we will flow slowly using modifications and props as needed. We recommend taking this class if you are new to the yoga practice.

  • Vinyasa Yoga uses asanas (postures) to achieve balance in the body. This class is paced breath to movement and designed to produce heat inside the body. The creative sequences allow for a students to be fully present in order to deepen the mind-body connection while increasing flexibility, strength, stamina, and overall health.

  • Hatha Yoga uses asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) to align and balance the body. The active stretches and asanas are held for several minutes to bring peace and balance to the mind and body as well as increasing muscle strength and endurance. Hatha yoga is performed at a relaxing pace to calm the mind in preparation for spiritual practices, such as meditation.

  • Sequences are performed in seated and lying postures, using props to fully support your body. This relaxing and restorative discipline of yoga targets deep connective tissues between the muscles, fascia build-up, and joint mobility. By fully relaxing into the pose, and holding for extended periods, the body is able to naturally release bodily tension, balance energy, improve blood circulation, and reduce stress and anxiety.

  • Similar to meditation yet uniquely different. In this 30-minute practice, students lay in savasana as they are guided into a state of consciousness awareness sleep. The mind and body can get deep rest as the conscious remains awake. In this state, the fight of flight response is turned off allowing the body to rest and restore. Yoga Nidra is a useful tool for anxiety and PSTD.
